I have worked at Bodhi for 9 years now and although I love every dog, the ones that are special to me are Fifa, Focus and Chico. When I started working at Bodhi I rescued these dogs as puppies from a nearby farm, so they always have a special place in my heart.

Working at Bodhi allows me to spend time with and care for the animals I have always loved. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Looking after both street and neighbours dogs. Quite often I am informed about a dog in my community needing food or help and I am always happy to assist. Even though I work at the shelter 6 days a week I still care for and feed the many community dogs and stray cats, funding this through my own money and not taking holidays as they make my heart happy.

Although I have worked at the Shelter for some time now and I love all the dogs there, when brother & sister puppies named Dollar and Penny arrived at the shelter they both looked so cute that I became very attached to them and in particular Dollar. He is so cheeky and loveable with his messy hair and funny ways, trying to eat the washing up bubbles and being by my side while I am working.

Seeing the dogs and my colleagues every day makes me happy this is why I love working here so much. They are always so pleased to see me when I arrive first thing in the morning, they brighten my days and fill my heart with love.
